Image results in search
As I mentioned on my other blog, Technorati has launched the ability to search tags from Technorati, Flickr and del.icio.us -- in other words, blog posts, photos and bookmarks. Some examples: here are the search results for tags of japan, guitar and swimming.
Amazon's search A9 has added images to their search results (though the results can be less than optimal as you can see from my search on "notepad") -- something that Google, who provides the image search results, cannot do, as they've pledged fealty to the Lords of Simplicity. Most of the other new search sites have followed Google's lead, so it will be interesting, especially to us here at Flickr, as to how the integration of images with search plays out.
